it's my fake car commercial for my reel demo. shot with the Letus35fe and the dvx100b. done in 1h. it was my first test with pure black area. it was a challenge but i think the result is quiet nice. let me hear your thoughts. in general i do only ambiance, slow paste melancholic feeling. so i wanted to change the paste. to something more energetic with my touch .

So you shot it outside at night and lit the girl from the front? Or did you do something else, it looks good. Anytime I try to light someone or something like that, I end up lighting the background and it ends up being pointless.
 
Thought it was good, but a few things I would have done differently.

- Contrast & exposure is a little high, but not sure if that's the look you wanted. :)
- The girl and some scenes looked out of focus.
- Would have really floored the car in the dirt, didn't really fit the audio or commercial.
- Would have stuck with the same year car for the whole shoot. Probably would have left out the older model. (loved the scene btw, "dance with me" BOOM lights! Genius)
- The song could have been better.

the point of the commercial is to feel like in a new car. the whole time it'S in the old car. in her head it'S in the new. that'S the commercial. you have love for your first car. you enter in it and you feel like a new car but in the end it'S the same.
the car was always at full speed. it'S front traction so you cannot see the tire spinning on themself. the Letus35fe is very sensitive. i love the song :) i had a 2k , 1k and diva light. for me the diva light was the best. 2k for the whole area. it'S freaking hard to light up a totally dark place. so i think it was great. it cost me 0$ that's nice.
 
I liked it. The music was perfect and the "dance with me line" was good. I might have added some flares or "particle" effects in post in spots. Just a suggestion.
