Vegas cant import m2t files? wtf

Well i captured my footage IN Vegas, and everything seemed pretty cool. The problem is that my m2t files wont import to my timeline. I am aware of most of the little bugs and i have read the faqs. I have trouble sometimes with the 24pulldown but this has nothing to do with that. I have attached a screenshot of the message that i get when i try to import the files or drag the captured files into the timeline.
I JUST SAW MY WHOLE TAPE RECORD ON MY PC.....I HAVE THE FILES IN MY FOLDER NOW....WHY IS VEGAS ACTING UP?

Hi,

I had a similar problem with m2t and mts files on a version of Pro8.


There was a bad file that was corrupt in the registry that caused the problem.

What I ultimately had to do was an uninstall of Pro8 down the registry and all the files in Windows. I used Registry Cleaner and CCleaner, too. Then reinstalled Pro 8. Everything is fine now.

i was told that you cant import m2t files from trial versions or pirated ones from torrents?

Hi,

Mine was legal and had the problem.

If it is illegal, it could be the problem, too. I wouldn't know.
