Length restrictions for online videos

I want to put a 30 minute video online, and just realised MySpace, Vimeo, YouTube and most other video pages put restrictions on lenght. MySpace for instance, puts a 250 MB limit for filmmakers. You'll be lucky fit a 15 minute video on that quota, even with H264. Vimeo also has a 500 MB limit I think. I'm planning to upload a video made in DV, NOT HD, so that should give me more options. I heard some people are using google videos for really long uploads, but the quality might be the same as YouTube.
Any suggestions?

The restriction isn't on length according to your statement, but on size in megabytes.

To get those 30 minutes on, you're going to have to compromise somewhere.

you could also do a bit torrent higher res version.
I never thought of that. I guess that would be similar to putting a .mov file in some filehost webpage and then hoping people will take the time to download it and play it, wouldn't it?
I'd still prefer to have a "web video stream" type of alternative I think. I could probably also make the video shorter, but it would still be roughly 20 min.

Okay, it seems Veoh may offer "the holy grail" for videos: highest quality and no lenght or file size restrictions.

I will have to see if they support H264 encoded .mp4 files and the AAC Audio standard, as I can't produce H264 encoded .mov files atm.

Or you could buy yourself a domain name and some hosting. I think it's about 10 bucks a year for domain name and 5 bucks a month for hosting. I use godaddy and have no problems. You will also look a lot more professional and have total control over your compression.
