Got a shoot tomarrow dont know what im doing

you all dont care, you just want to see his free porn ; )

No, I'm serious about this... I spent a lot of time at 24p, 30p & 60i... With 1 16 gig card! I'm sure he had better lighting but I went with 1080 60i for my project in a fast moving r 'n g senario.

720p vs 1080i

720p vs 1080i

also from my understanding (thanks to guru barry green's HVX book) the 720p is progressive (hence the p) and the 1080i is interlaced... if it was 1080p (which it is not) and you were watching it on a 50" 1080p capable TV then shoot 1080p but since 1080 is interlaced I would say the 720/60p would be the purest HD but the 720/30pn (native) may be the way to go because the native is a hvx/p2 card setting that doubles your p2 card time (in 30n) and the picture will still be true HD. if I'm wrong someone please correct me as I am just starting to learn this great camera as well :)

The HVX is a 1080p camera. The frames are progressive and have absolutely no interlacing. All of the camera's footage is captured at 1080p and then downscaled, if necessary to 720p or 480. There is less compression in 1080 and about 15-20% more res. It does, however, eat up more than twice the memory but it is worth it if you have the space.

When can we hear from rzblack vbmenu_register("postmenu_1311375", true); ??? All I want to know was how his shot worked out and what format did he chose to work with on one 16 gig card...

Ah man! I read all the way to this point and there's no ending to the story. What a rip off.

No "money shot" for this thread. I bet the guy got "out pudded" from the production. I think this guy did a hit and run on all you helpful folk.

I'm still laughing at this sentence "The final master will be just out pudded to the hard drive."
