I would wear an avatar shirt, but I think I need to dress up a bit more for the event. Maybe I'll get one made for the BBQ on Saturday.

LOL. I cant wear mine to the BBQ. I've put on 50 lbs in the past 9 months and the only way I can wear that t-shirt in public is under a button-up. I'd look like Simon Cowell wearing a 4 sizes too small black shirt with the man boobs flappin.

Not good.

I would say your best bets are to fly into Burbank or Ontario. I cant personally do another trip out to LAX, but Burbank is close by.

Max R. Wilson lives 15 minutes from LAX and has graciously offered to do a pickup at LAX. If you're coming in Friday LAX will work and we'll hook you up with Max!
 
Hey guys did you ever decide if Kevin can go to the fest? Last I heard there was gonna be a meeting and then I haven't heard anything about it since. Poor kid is chomping at the bit. Either way can I get an answer. Who do I have to schmooze to get him in. Seriously though it would be nice to know ASAP.

I both responded to his post and also sent him a PM. I have not heard back from him in either regard so I will post here and ask you to pass on to him:
Yes, Kevin, it appears that we will be able to get you an exemption. It is necessary to get the approval from CINESPACE, which has tentatively given me the go-ahead. However, they take their license very seriously and it is necessary to have all supervising staff sign off. We see no reason to doubt this will occur, but obviouisly we don't want to pester them. Be patient and I anticipate that we will have the sign-offs by Wednesday.

Just checked my miles on a whim to see if I had enough to get me to LA...

I don't have enough miles.
Probably for the best - I'd have to fly back early Saturday to prep for a shoot on Sunday. Damn it, you guys make it sound like so much fun though.
