Stop your whining and get out here. We need a little less left in Hollywood.
damn clients. It's a definite no for me. Client absolutely cannot reschedule... one of those really busy weekends. Oh well.. there's next year (I hope)
You guys should do a webcast for us poor schlubs who can't make it down there, give a big shout out on camera. Maybe someone can even twitter the event...
We're coming!!! Ken Kupelian and Shawn Nelson have tickets booked, staying at Fat Monster! GageFX is graciously and awesomely picking us up from LAX on Friday. On Sunday we leave, is anyone heading to LAX on Sunday from FM or nearby that would take us back? We're willing to pay gas! Anything to save me from a 50 mile taxi trip, ouch!
If you can't find anyone to give you a ride, you might want to look into riding Metro. I'm not sure how close they come to Rancho Cucamonga, but I know that once you're in LA you can take public trans to the airport. Might make it a 25 mile taxi drive.

My bro and I are definitely going to try and get up there for this because it sounds like one hell of a good time. We'll see if we can get out of work early, four hours early to make that drive![]()
We'll have a lot more notice next time.i would be there if we had at least 4 weeks advance notice. 2 weeks isn;t alot of time, especially when travelling from outside of California.
Actually, things have changed in airfare pricing dramatically just in the last couple of weeks. It used to be that long advance purchases got you good rates, but now I frequently find that buying a ticket on the same day, or within 3 days of departure, gives the best rates. Not always, but frequently. I often have to fly on short notice and a few years ago that used to mean exorbitant airfares, but nowadays the airlines are so desperate for ticket sales that they give away seats at some of their cheapest rates if you buy last-minute. So, all I'm saying is, don't necessarily rule it out because you think the tickets will be expensive. Just shop around, you might be surprised. At least 4 weeks still gives us decent airfare... 2 weeks is iffy.
I may, but it's a long way to go (I'm on the east coast). Haven't ruled it out, but haven't scheduled it yet either.isnt Barry Green coming? Why isnt his name on there?
