First Annual Official DVXuser DVXFest International Film Festival Screening

I was doing some rough calculations, just out of curiosity, trying to figure out what would be the cheapest way for me to get there. Since I live relatively close (4 - 5 hours by car) I would think that would be cheapest but with gas prices as they are I checked into airfare from Fresno. It would cost around $200 in gas in my SUV and about $238 round trip in some Boeing jet. I probably won't be able to make it but I am thinking about it.

There's a whole boatload of users coming from Fresno. Unless your b.o. is spectacularly worse than other penguins I have known I would think you can jump in one of their wagons and throw in a few sardines for gas.
 
Fantastic! I really wish I could be there, but unfortunately I'll have to settle for the webcast (I hope). I'm already planning in advance to attend the Second Anual Official DVXuser DVXFest International Film Festival Screening (SAOD DIFFS).
 
We'll have more lead time for the next one. We're really stretching on TimeFest and adding new things (a new voting system, a huge screening event, and maybe even another little surprise if we can make it all happen).

Thanks to the Fat Monster crew for organizing the logistics for the event -- it's very much appreciated!
 
Waco Texas is going to be there!!!!! Gary & myself are hoping Fat Monster will graciously host two loly Texas boys.

Got your info. Sounds great. You wanna come shoot with us on the 10th? We've got a shoot for HEEB magazine that involves hot babes in a mansion in Bel Aire. You guys in? Bring an HVX if you can.
 
Hot babes HELL YEAH...but don't have HVX...erm...i can hold fancy cables and such pretty damn well...lol we do have DVX though (but its Garys baby i'd have to ask him)

Who is going from Fresno? Shout "Bobsled Showdown" if you have an extra seat for a friendly Penguin with an endless sense of humor and the ability to talk BS for days at a time.

The plan is to this every fest now, right? And if I am not mistaken, the next fest should end in October, no? See, I am always in the area for about 5 days every October and if you guys do this that month I can schedule my trip around that date. Is that good enough for you?
 
hmmm... i've made the move 2,500 miles to san diego and have yet to take the 125 mile trip up to hollywood, maybe this is the time. does anyone know what the traffic is like coming INTO the city?
