Demo Reel Shot With Hvx

Great reel, a lot of amazing shots!
So what camer besides the HVX (with the Brevis) was involved?
What was used for the BibleQuest?

great reel. really really good.

what was the first song? i recognize it but can't place from where.

again, solid.

Your reel is great and exciting to watch. I like the pulse of the different sections and how it sucks you in and keeps your attention.

Good job.

solid reel man, it'd probably be a lot tighter if it was only about 2mins though. great images. i like how you edited the images to the music.

I actually didn't like most of the After Effects stuff. Too Andrew Kramerish for my tastes. All the shots were beautiful, though. VERY nice comps in there.

Just because Andrew Kramer did a tutorial on it shouldn't mean that people can't feel good about using the principles in their work. All the particle effects and 3D stuff is a huge part of after effects and is pretty easy to figure out without Andrew Kramer. Also, what is the point of buying Evolution if not to use it?

Jeremy, I think the reel is excellent, and shows a great application of AFTER EFFECTS, no matter where/how you learned how to do it. Keep it up.

i think this is becoming the latest trend of being able to spot an Andrew Kramer tutorial and calling somebody out for using it, lol.

as i mentioned in another thread, how many people outside the internet world know who andrew kramer is and who's going to really care at the end of the day?

it's one thing to do an andrew kramer tutorial and do it poorly, but if you do it right then you have some professional looking work.

Wow man, that was absolutely breath taking.

I would love to learn how you do those amazing title effects. With the floating particles, and the 3d layering with the neat designs (background is slower moving than the forground ) many movies use this and i would love to know how it is done.

Nice reel, a little too long.

Most people make up their minds in the first 30 seconds. I saw what I needed to after 45 seconds. Then I needed to try to snag that little cursor and move it to the end to get a contact number, email, or name.

You can shorten it up a lot. But aside from that, nice.
