Time Fest 2008 - Submission Status

I missed the upload deadline by 2 hours.
I was rushing all morning and just could not make the deadline.

That's too bad man. I was really looking forward to it.

Post it anyway. They'll probably take it in non-compete and you'll still get a bunch of feedback.

For the love of all things holy....if you submitted a film...make a thread!!! We will want to talk to you about your film and if you have no thread...how will you receive any feedback? There are several on the list with no thread.

maybe it seems stoopid but I never used a forum before, and I don't know how and where to make a thread about my movie, I am also afraid that my movie is not good enough, because is my first movie ever, and I made it in 1 week...
please help !!!

No problem buddy- just go to the forum where we put the posts about individual movies. At the top of the page it says
newthread.gif
click there and post some info about your film, cast, crew, poster and some screen grabs.

It's ok if you don't have as much experience as others that's what DVXuser is all about people improving upon there talents, no matter where they are. These fests are a great way to improve your skills and have fun.

Start a new thread by clicking on the Start New Topic button, top left.

Title of the thread should be the title of the movie you entered.

Here's an easy way to upload pictures and grabs: go to www.photobucket.com. Sign up for free, and upload your pix. Then once it's uploaded, click on the "IMG CODE" space, below the recently uploaded pic. It will copy it automatically.
Then, return to your open thread, that you have just created, and paste it there.
Write the info of the picture below it, and there you have it.

Don't forget info about your movie, i.e., camera used, cast, crew, nle, etc.

Other film makers will begin to respond to your thread that way. You'll get feedback that will help you see some mistakes (and we all make 'em) to help you improve. Win- win situation.

Best of luck.

Ahrrrghh. Still not approved.

What are you guys doing? It´s half past 7 in California.
You could have checked at least 20 films during your breakfast.

Frank

So far we have 6 hours 50 minutes and 16 seconds of films to watch, assuming they all have a 6min 2second runtime!

You can take away a little bit. Ours is only 6 minutes, 1 second and 23 frames (on 25 fps).

OK Lets make that 6 hours 50 minutes and 15.92 seconds of films to watch, assuming that all but one have a 6min 2second runtime!

I like to be precise! :)

Mine is only 4 min and 30 sec from beginning to end. 14 seconds intro and 14 seconds outro...figure that! :D

Aww, and still not approved :(
