35mm adapter rig photos

Just my SG Pro HV20 rig.. Very simple and lightweight, yet produces some amazing results.

Lovely HV20 rig, I just love to see people shooting 1080p on those suckers! And the SGpro, that is my dream.

this is my super ghetto revision to the beer can 35mm adapter. PVC pipe and old cd case, lens cap, and 2 dollar store magnifying glasses taped together for an anchromat . Mounted to my indie focus rails and FF with friction gear. My adapter support is an old nerf football and a lot of duct tape.

Here is a link to some test footage.

I added the horrible film grain to cover up the crappyness of the GG, which you can still see. I was using a nikon 50mm 1.8. I dont know what the aperture was or camera settings. I think I might have had the ND filter on as well. I am currently working on a spinning model which should be interesting. Really im just passing the time until the blade is revealed.

Zero, I guess that's a pretty innovative attempt as far as adapters go. I agree with you, the "GG" is still quite visible though. Good luck on your spinning adapter, make sure to post some footage. I wouldn't mind seeing it without any post effects.

P.S. I'm diggin the usage of a nerf football haha
