Hey guys! I have been filming snowboarding and skateboarding for 3 years and have a vx1000 and a vx2100, and i ordered a DVX100b which came today and im pumped on it! Just started messing around with scene files, and other things with my DVX, and I can say that it is much more customizeable then any of the VX's, also the 24p is amazing after shooting 60i. Hope to have some footage for people to critique soon!
 
i bought mine off one of my friends friends on newschoolers.com, real good deal, but you can get them anywhere really... new.. ebay... here... just look around man haha
 
hahah yeah i know, ive been looking around, i was just wondering if you got your from somewhere that had a good deal, thats all

Awsome. I just got mine yesterday. I shoot alot of the same stuff, Skiing, Boarding, Mountain biking. I have been lugging around a Sony DSR400 for the past year (ugh!). I can wait to get this bad boy out on the trails .
