What would happen if I used these lenses?

yeah those should work out...as long as they are the right thread size. Like you said youll lose some clarity and most likely end up with some aberration but if the clarity isnt super important then you should be able to get away with those instead of shelling out the mondo bucks for like a century or whatever....

Yeah, your not going to get a great image out of that like you would from a 16X9 Inc lens or century optics, but they will get the job done i spose. Plus you dont have to shell out hella bank.

I don't know about those filters... seems too good to be true, and the seller has some bad feedback.

The wide lens and telephoto might work out ok. Be careful if the threads are not quite right. You might strip your dvx threads. .5 is pretty wide and will probably have significant distortion (fisheye effect) , but you'll be able to shoot in small rooms! I would assume that you are most interested in the wide angle, and you might consider getting a better used wide angle and forget the tele. My $800 century .75 wide adapter (means it can focus throughout the entire zoom range, a convertor cannot) goes for @ $300 on ebay now when they pop up. The bayonett mount is the greatest thing. Screw screw-ons, they're an invitation for problems.

Jesus, lenses are expensive. I think I can do without them for those exorbitant prices. I'll just stick with adding a fish eye effect in post for that kind of money.

it's not really because of the effect, it's more for be able to film in a little room or something like that
