Indeed $500 is not a little bit of money. No it is not a problem with the customs, as the goods was NEVER shipped, as Michael had admitted in both his post here as well as his private messages to me.

I no longer expect it to be shipped, what I am waiting for is the refund he promised a month ago.

wow - this is terrible. if youre going out of town for weeks at a time - TELL THE BUYER or just hold off on selling until you return. this kind of crap is what gives these kind of transactions a bad name.

the cool thing is that if you screw up bad once - you pretty much sully your name.
and thanks to the forum, its public knowledge.

I would like to give Michael benefit of the doubts and believe that he is genuine
busy. However, what I am expecting is just refund for my money.

Hopefully, next time he comes to civilization and see these messages, he does
the right thing, which he had promised to do anyway.

im sorry. this is none of my business and not my place to comment. but thats just ass-hole behavior. if you sell something - ESPECIALLY in a forum like this. you have to be conscious that the buyer may NEED the product in timely fashion and cant wait around until you get damned good and ready to box it up and take it to the post office.

i make it a rule to have my items boxed and in the mail within a business day of payment. if nothing else its just good karma.
 
ha. i actually do have the indifocus pro with all the long whip, crank and gears. and have been considering selling it. if you get refunded, drop me a line.

Uh, are we talking about "purplebandalero" aka J. Michael Owens, the guy that started this thread to sell a follow focus? You do realize he was logged in today... and he was logged in a couple days ago when I first read this thread. He's not AWOL.

He's even posting in this forum selling more stuff. He's just not posting in this thread.

Michael's profile no longer displays when he was last logged on. I guess he doesn't like people knowing that he's around while he's telling them that he has no email access :lipsrseal

He's been a big seller over the last few months and very active selling things here recently. He should certainly hve made enough money here to pay suryacipta back the $500 he owes him.

It seems from posts #11, #13 and those that followed that suryacipta bought this follow focus. Well, I guess that would at least explain why suryacipta never got it.
