where is the pc mode on the menu?

im not seeing the 'pc mode' on my 'other functions' menu? i want to transfer the data from tape to my pc but am unable. can anyone help?

You can get there by holding the black button on the back of the camera for about 3-4 seconds. I'm not with my camera so I forget the name.

Unless you mean changing the output from 1394FW to USB for use with a PC. That is in the Other Functions / PC Mode / USB Device menu.

i am pretty sure I tried those things. i held the black button in the back down. it blinked for PC Dub but then put in a blank thumbnail screen. i have the media set for tape and all. i checked the manual where it has an example screen of where the pc mode is supposed to be (which is when it is in camera mode) but it does not say pc mode anywhere. if i am not mistaken the pc mode option is directly under an icon like 1394 CMD SEL or something like that right? my icon says something totally different. it says END SEARCH. the manual says PC MODE is supposed to be there. the manual does not even show an icon END SEARCH?
