Hey Jeremy, don't kill me but is there any way to get a decent copy of this? I think even that vimeo link is awful compression. If not, I will watch it on there, but if you can send a higher res version, I would love love love you. :) I just started getting into the credits, but stopped hoping to get a better version. DivX baby, DivX.

Hey Jeremy, I thought most Bolex cams where MOS, how did you record your dialogue? I'm a 16mm fan myself, If I could afford it :-P

You can get great SD/HD footage on Vimeo. It's either the footage or some other issue. I would also like to see the best version of this video if possible.

Check out the Vimeo HD page if you have any doubts about what it can do.

Hey Jeremy, I watched the vimeo and now I really want to see a better quality version. It looks beautiful. I love the look that cam gives. How much post did you do on the footage? I recognized some signature Hyler touches in the transitions and in the coloring, I thought.

It's a great little story, but I'm not sure I understand what the "strange event" she refers to at the end is. Is it the girl meeting her then bolting? Her puking? Or her just being at that club? I mean, pretty much none of what happened seemed strange to me.

Other than that, I hate to say it, but that ADR is killing you. I think when dealing with real natural material and performances like this, I think you gotta gotta gotta get it on set. It's just about impossible to replicate those kinds of performances in adr, except for the most highly skilled actors. And here the adr was pretty obvious. Not only in the mix, but in the performances.

I thought the actors were all right, but could have been made more comfortable and settled into the world they inhabited a little more. It's hard to describe, but at times, I felt like they were just a hair on this side of performing, and not just being in the moment.

What is your actors' skill level and training?

Really nice stuff and I guess I haven't seen anything from you in a while, but it's really different in content than the other stuff I've seen, though with some of the same stylistic elements.

Am watching some of the other things up there.

I take it that camera shoots 4X3?

How much film have you shot, opposed to digital, and do you have a preference, not only aesthetically, but in workflow, on set, etc?

i still have alot of audio work to do but so dont worry it will sound better when done. but I had 3 months to make the film from writing to getting it done for class. it cost about 2 g's and stuff. but ill give more details after i sleep i just got back from radiohead concert.... it was awesome.
