Short film trailer AUTOMOBILE

Hey Avr,

You film looks great. The acting, photography, lighting, everything works. Keep up the good work.

Regarding the trailer, it was too slow. In approximately the first 15 seconds of the trailer you have him just driving in to the garage. You have 5+ different shots of him trying to open the door. Another 3+ shots of him taking on the cell phone. From what I can gather, your short is a suspense/thriller. Dealing with trailers in that genre, its best to structure your trailer into three parts.

Part One: In the beginning of the trailer you ask a question.
Part Two: You play around with your audience and you don't answer the question, here your teasing them.
Part Three: You end it off by answering the question, but only with another question, remember you want them to come and see your short.

You can do the above with images, text or just sound. The BEST example of a trailer IMHO, that uses this approach, is FUNNY GAMES http://wip.warnerbros.com/funnygames/ Check out the trailer for it, the movie is based in your genre, and uses the technique of text, images and dialog to archive this.

Here are some extra info on working with trailers.

Todos los mejores y de nuevo mantener el buen trabajo, (excuse me if the sentence doesn't make sense, my Spanish is horrible)
