I am getting a 150cc one this summer, its enough to keep up with traffic on the roads I take to work and school and it gets about 90MPG
My grandma has one.
That's cold.
Uga -- depending on where you live from a traffic standpoint, a full-fledged cycle might be a safer bet. Still great mileage, but with a little more oomph to get around the crazy, non-bike-seeing drivers. Just a thought.
Same here - and I only drive a four cylinder. Looking forward to using my motorbike a lot when I get my license soon.I dont drive one yet, but I am seriously considering selling a car to buy one, I cringe everytime I fill up my gas tank!
I use a Honda Wave 125. It's nothing to brag about but it takes you to where you need to go.

Wear a helmet.
Of course the roads would be paved in blood, but that's what helmets are for.
