Buying a used HVX200 --- suggest the appropriate price please?!?!

Looking to buy a used HVX200 from a close, trusted friend. The following is included. What do you think a fair price is?

HVX200 - serial number E6NC00053 R (maybe this will help date it)
Hour Meter - 00033 H
Operation - 00057 H

One Panasonic VW-VBD55 7.2 5400mAh battery and charger with cord

One CineBag softside rigid carry bag.

One Century Pro Series HD .75X wide angle converter lens. Bayonet mount; Schneider Optics serial C118362 (again, for dating?)

And that's it..... suggestions???

No cards at all?

I assume that the HVX200 comes with all accessories?

If so, my guess is the cam is about $4100 or so.

Figure about 70% of the original cost of bag and WA.

Battery should be thrown in.

Make sure it comes with an extended warranty. If not I myself would not buy. If something goes wrong and you have to send it out repair it is going to cost you a lot of extra money.

Extended warranties really don't apply very well.

They need to be purchased within a specific time frame and usually it's a Mack Warranty, which is hit and miss

Mack warranty has to be purchased within 30 days of buying the camera. I have good experience with Mack. Warranties do what they are supposed to do, get your equipment fixed, that is why you get them in the first place and that is what the providers are in business for.

SOME companies, and from what I've read include MACK warranties, are not the easiest to deal with. There are numerous reports here of extended delays of months on repairs for HVX200 with Mack warranties.

Do a search and you'll find them.

The camera should include the following as well:

D4/Component video cable
Charger-to-camera power cable (to run it without batteries)
Remote Control
Microphone clip (attaches to top of camera)
Lens cap
XLR Mic input covers

Some of these are quite useful and could be an expensive hassle to replace.

My $.02
