Have entered in in mult film fests and I hope to do well with it, Tell me what you think, I will post many production pics also! Tell me if you guys want more grabs. Shot with the Set up in my sig, production pics where taken with a Canon 10D, It is worth the Download time, trust me!

Don´t want to be too picky but is that couple Amish or something like that?
Just because of the strange outfit they wear.

Jon,

Very powerful story. I liked it a lot. Very strong visuals, especially the camera "rising" from above vanya, and the helmet falling. The location you chose is great as well.

There are a couple of things that didn't work for me, however.

- First introduction of main character. His hair is way too spiky, doesn't seem to fit the time period.
- light continuity between 1:38 and 1:42
- Add voice over to "Katya did not survive, Vonya visists", etc.
- Also, voice over is not very clear.

Other than that, it's fantastic. Looking forward to seeing more of your stuff.

BTW, the tripod, do you have some sort of "protection" on the bottom of the legs, or are you stuck with having just "stubs" sticking out like me? Did yours come with those originally?

My libec came with nubs for the spikes along with feet... But it is best just to use the spikes... We orginnally had the end voiced over, but after multiple screenings we found it was less effective emotionally with them in there... The voice overs in this version have become very bassy and using a compressed codec, It doesnt do as much justice as the original. The pity is with SD DV i am really limited on what CC I can do and how far I can push the light....

I agree with the post about the character's hair. Other than that it was really nice. The rack focus from the rifle to the guy was good too. And the way he slid after he got shot was perfect. Did that take a few tries or did he slide like that right off the bat?

About 15 takes, our Nazi was very tired after that shot, cold and wet also.... Jim did a great job though, wow I never thought of his hair that apparent until right now... I will do my best to make sure next time I will have better make up! out make up girl did a great job too, we did that shot actually before she showed up, ahh. thats why!
