anyone in Chicago wanna make a Time Film?

Hi, fellow DVXusers.

I'm pretty new to this board but this theme is too intriguing to pass off.
My current crew is unmotivated. They don't want in. So I'm alone on this one.

Anyways,...I live in Chicago. I'm a self taught newbie who wants to collaborate with any local filmmakers in Chicago or surrounding suburbs, in making a Time Fest entry.

I got an HV20 + Brevis setup but I'm still learning the good, bad, and ugly of using it.

But...where I can really help is in the editing and the writing of the project. I think my skills are better suited in the editing room and in helping create a good story.

Currently, for fun, I'm editing the Tracey Fragment footage that was given a Creative Commons license for filmmakers to edit and share. I'm trying to create a different cut of the feature film without the use of multiple "panels" like in the original film.

The entire feature isn't complete. This is just a little bit of what I've done so far.
Copyrighted music was used as a temp track.

This was the teaser trailer that I made for it.

There's other videos up on vimeo that I'm not so proud of including our team's first short film and our 2007 48 hour film contest entry (Yeesh!).

Anyways...pm me if you're interested.

Mark
