Hey guys, yeah... pretty excited to do some test shots with these lenses.

I just finished 21 mock trials and we are supposed to have nice weather tomorrow! Hopefully I can post some test footage soon.

Actually we've bought one from there so far but I've been searching for a 24 under 2.8 but it's tough to find a good one. Oh well, the search continues.

Update on progress.....

There has be zero progress!

I do intend to make this film and participate... I am just very preoccupied with starting up a new business. I am taking this new business very serious. Business Plan, Business Mentors...

I will hopefully be able to set this aside and work on The Moiré Effect very soon.

26 pages?? Lol, can't wait to see your entry Ted! I'm holding off on starting my thread until I do my first weekend of production (which is this weekend ;-)
 
Okay, okay... I am fired up!

I have finished all the crap that was holding me down. I have three more days of performing and then nothing until June 1st. So, let's make a movie!!!

I really do like this script and look forward to shooting this. As usual, I will be focusing on some new skills and some new toys.

I will offer updates as they unfold. I am just glad to be back on this project!

In other news.... I drove down to DC and picked up my latest toy.... a 12' JonyJib! This puppy has it all! Digital Pan/Tilt head, remote focus and zoom (made for ENG cams but I am going to see if I can rig the focus unit for my camera. It is a remote geared wheel). This jib came with weights, tripod, rear control center, lcd monitor... pretty crazy deal. I got it all for $1600! Sweet.

Also, while I was at the studio (in DC) picking up the jib, the guy was trying to get me to take a bunch of gear. I just couldn't and wasn't interested in most. BUT, I did take him up on two 19" Sony High Resolution production monitors for $200. I am totally stoked to finally have a real production monitor!!! They are old but they are amazing!
