This almost makes me want to go to college. This looks really darn good? How did it turn out?

Undergraduate or Graduate school?

We were shooting at Rattlesnake point! Were you there?

Ya my wife and I were walking out for a hike, I had my 5 month old daughter in a carrier on my chest. Looks like you had a good size crew helping on the shoot, we wanted to steal some of the food you had out!

The cable cam rig that you had set up looked really interesting, I wanted to come over to talk to somebody about it but you guys looked way to busy.
Never saw the cable cam in use but it looked cool, how did it work out.
I would love to see some photos of that in use as that is something I wanted to build myself aswell.

That is fun! It was such a nice weekend to be out. Our whole crew is sunburnt because of it! Hahaha
The production was one of three final productions this year, so everyone was keen to be helping out on set. Definitely a big crew out that day. Your right we were way too busy that day, due to the semester screaming to an end we only had the two days this weekend to shoot, where we really could have used an additional two to get things done.

Our wirecam rig is a completely DIY home depot rig. It cost us around $120, and runs 65 feet right now. If I were to do it again I would get at least 100ft of cable to make it worth while. Scott or I will get some pictures of it and post them when we have a free second. Scott is pretty busy doing colour for the film right now, so probably on the weekend we can get some more up.

that wire thing does look cool. i want to see the shot. i always wanted to do something like that but the best i could make is a clothes line with a runner made of those plastic things with wheels that holds the clothes line together
