Looking to buy a new DVX100b

Any suggestions on where to buy? I apologize in advance, I realize this question has been asked before, but I can't find any real current information. I even read through the 72 page authorized dealer thread, but that thread ended in 2007.

I of course would like to find the best deal possible, not gray market stuff, and am curious if the magic bullet software and the DVX book and dvd still come packaged with new camera purchases.

I am pretty sure the $500 rebate is no longer going on, but anyone have any good places to look for a decent deal?

I would suggest looking in the marketplace. I know that there are several listed for sale.

I was even thinking of putting my own DVX100B but there is just no way to get what I feel it is worth.

Example, there is one listed there now for $2000. And there is always Magic Bullet and the DVX book being offered.

If you go to an authorized dealer, you are going to pay around $2600 (I believe).
 
I got mine in January from Full Compass. Shawn was very helpful, worked with me a bit on the price and kept in touch with me till the camera and some filters were delivered. I'd certainly reccomend them. They also had the cheapest price at the time of the authorized dealers.
 
i have a brand new dvx with 25 hours on it ive owned it for three months with magic bullet and the dvx book for $2000
 
If you're looking for a new one then I can recommend NewEgg.com. They are not an authorized dealer, but the DVX I bought from them in November is fully legit and qualified for the Panasonic rebate and DVX book (so it is an authorized camera). I paid $2300 for it and received it in 3 days.

Again, NewEgg is not an authorized dealer so this means you could possibly get an unauthorized camera (I guess), but I have yet to see anything negative about them here.

I got mine from B&H. Within $50 of NewEgg and they ARE authorized. $2399 with the $250 rebate works out to $2149 out the door.

I'm sold. If I needed another one then I'd go for B&H. Then get yer CalDigit S2VR Duo from NewEgg!
