Where Can I get FCP 5.1.4 update?

I have that stuff. At the time the 5.1 universal update came out, I had A G5 and did not download the intel version (universal). 5.1 is no longer on their site. I don't have the cash for fcs2 right now because I just got the hvx200. I need 5.1 then 5.1.4 to edit P2 stuff without a headache. Thanks.
 
You no longer can update from 5.0.4 to 5.1.x, the Universal Binary version.

It was never a download at all, but a disc swap for $49.00.

The only update that was available was an update from 5.1 to 5.1.4, which was free for 5.1 users.

Apple offered the $49.00 upgrade for 18 months, extending it twice.

Now it is either $499 or $699 depending on what you own to go to FCS2.

But there never was a downloadable update to 5.1 from 5.0.4.
 
I will gladly pay someone the $49 upgrade if they have the old cd they can part with with the 5.1 update. :dankk2:
 
There is NO download update from 5.0x to 5.1x.

It was a disc swap the end a year ago.

As to paying someone for the 5.1 update, you cannot because those discs are new program discs that were exchanged for the old program discs

They came with new serial numbers were are used for all FCS2 update installs.
 
David, if that's directed at me, you'll notice my post follows a post about upgrading from 5.1 to 5.1.4.
