Hi there:)

My roomies and I went on a trip to Ålesund here in Norway to visit my brother.
There we went on a trip to a lighthouse and I just had to film some:)


Now.. the style of the intro is nothing like the style of the actual "film".. I just thought it'd be fun to try something different.

Some may disagree with my choice of music, but this was also.. an attempt at something different. And I just absolutely love that song.

that looks real nice. id shoot everyday if i lived somewhere that looked as nice as your area. i really liked the driving in the beginning. and the ballet dancing at the end.

Well actually I don't live there right now..
It's a 10 hour annoying bussdrive :undecided

But I'll be moving up there in August I think.. :D Can't wait!
 
This looks seriously good. The scenery is very beautiful and it has that nice and warm feeling to it.
And the "Fame" performance was awesome! :grin:
 
did you use OIS in the car? i cant get a steady shot at all in the car. maybe you have awesome suspension.

That was an excellent peace of art there; the music went perfect with the concept.
I like the slow motion, what was it shot in 60i?
I wish I can take my time when filming, and get some images like yours am convince now with proper planning, and lighting you can get some real film like images with these cameras. Keep up the good work’’ job well done.

No I don't think the dvx100a has OIS...? or am I wrong?
I just held the rig tight and the car wasn't driving that fast..

Well sort of.. I live in a PAL based country so I shot in 50i, not 60i.
And then I slow it down 200%..
 
The DVX has OIS.
I liked the video, but I think you should have shown more of the lighthouse.

Yeah I thought I shot more when we were up in the lighthouse, but as I recall the wind was wild crazy and I didn't wanna risk losing the camera.. for real... That was the sickest piece of wind I've ever experienced:Drogar-Evil(DBG):
 
great great great! i really dig the sg pro, i whish i could try it one day! really nice shoot, the locations are wonderful also, the editing & the music match really well, great cc also. everything seems so stylish up north from a belgian point of view ;)
