That is a beautiful thing......I'll think over buying it for a couple days. I really should be spending $$ toward my HVX rig, but that is a good deal.
 
Cool....I assume this is an MOS camera since it looks like a big brother of the Arri S. Are blimps for it available and plentiful?

A lot of us cut our teeth on that camera. Before I got my Panavision 1st AC certification, I was out making bad movies with my own Arri 16SB.

It is always brings back great memories when I see these venerable cameras and know that they're still making great pictures for someone.

So many folks were interested in this camera last spring and it is now for sale. It is up on eBay, and to honor the spirit of this forum I will not post a link to it. Just wanted anyone here who was interested to have a chance to purchase it. The bidding is up to $255, which is quite a bit less than I was selling it for last spring. The only thing different is that the zoom lens is not with the package anymore. One thing that is with the package now is that I changed the ground glass in the camera to an ARRI factory fibre optics screen, so the viewfinder is quite bright and you get the same image as when you look through an Arriflex 16SR or 16SRII.

It's an Arriflex 16M body that has been fully serviced, with two 400ft magazines, and an ARRI variable speed motor.
