Films Shot on HVX?

I just recently bought an HVX and I'm alway looking for new styles and techniques. Are they any movies out there that were shot solely on HVX with a good amount of legitimacy?

there are. but who cares? even if they did shoot with an hvx, youre never going to know what actual settings they used or what was done to it in post. just find movies you like and play with your settings to try to mimic them. or better yet. shoot it clean and do it in post.

theyve been making movies for years with worse cameras than the hvx. go get to shootin!

Wgzn, I don't know how you can possibly think that a new HVX user who wants to learn new styles and techniques should shoot clean and edit styles in post instead of how to use the camera itself in the first place. Clearly it is better to learn the fundamentals of applying the numerous settings on the camera in any given situation to get a desired effect so that you can MINIMIZE what you need to do in post and MAXIMIZE the quality of your original footage.

Your post makes it clear that the OP should learn the fundamentals first and that is what was suggested.

Rather than work with styles as shown in movies with "a good amount of legitimacy," at least to me it would be important to learn how to first shoot clean footage, and then move from there.

David, I agree wholeheartedly with you! However, that's different than saying shoot clean and then use post to get styles, which is effectively what wgzn advocated. Instead of relying on post, a new user should learn the camera front to back (which starts with shooting clean, as you said) in order for him/her to take advantage of what it has to offer.
