Last year they said they were coming out with in Jan o8, and still nothing

what's going on?
I can't wait to get one

It was finished a few weeks ago and I saw the final product, but now they are redesigning it due to a miscalculation in the rear focal distance (I think it was the optics manufacturer's error). Hien just bought an hpx500 so he wont need me to test it on a camera. Who knows when the next one will be out? I really have no clue. If you need one now, some company in italy has made a relay and they are ready to sell.

The company is from Greece...
Here is same photos of the latest TVC that we shoot.

Varicam is on a low mode in the steadycam (upsidedown) the relay is bihind brevis35. We using a new ground glass... That doesnt have so many problems as the original Brevis...

Evangelos those images look pretty sharp. Though Ive learned some important lessons. So I ask:

Can you post a few full res still?

and

Can you post some full res clips?

Also is it possible to post some other specs like unit dimensions?

Cheers

Noel

The dimensions of the unit for Brevis35 and Super 35 are

Total length properly focused: 117mm
Biggest diameter : 76mm
Weight : 450 gr

Effective length (outside Brevis and B4 mount : 95mm

The relay has an internal aperture adjustment, but we fix it to a certain number. But this is irrelevant of the light loss, which is ¼ of a stop more than Brevis alone, mesured with CFL1 screen.

We are on the verge of an HPX purchase and are anxiously awaiting word on the B4 adapter from Letus...

Does anybody have an update or a good guess as to when it will be publicly available?

The HPX-500/Letus B4 mount combo is a no-brainer for our company, especially if the Letus comes out anywhere around the $5,000 mark (or lower!).

Also, has anyone heard if the B4 will have a PL mount available and if the mounts will be swappable? We would like to get a PL mount for rental lenses use and a nikon mount for day-to-day use with Zeiss Primes.

Thanks for any information...

Also, if anybody has used any other B4 adapters besides the P&S Pro35 I would be interested in hearing the results since we need to make our purchase soon.
