Not too butt in or anything but remember to always read the dislcaimers before buying stuff on here...but this person selling has only posted 3 times and just joined...which can be a weird sign...Not saying you are but just stating the facts at hand...

Hello,
HVX200 is sold
AJ-PCS060G also sold
Tripod still here although it may be sold by this afternoon, not sure yet.

As for Inspire84:
Yes, you are butting in.
No; you are not just stating the facts, mostly innuendo and ugly insinuations.
I understand that being New Yorker paranoia is part of your MO, but really there is no need to spread it to the rest of the world.

Dealing on fear are the weak.

I found the best combo.

Live in philadelphia where evertying is cheap (compared to nyc) and work for NYC companies for NYC freelance rates. Booya!

Chervas - glad to hear you sold the camera. I wish i'd have the cash sooner i would have gotten it off of you.

listen carlos, it wouldn't be the first or the fiftieth time someone got ripped off on this site, so Inspire84's just telling people to use prudence when dealing with someone whose new. He didn't say that you were a scammer. Other sites mandate that you have to make 50 posts before advertising stuff. It's not paranoia. You're new here. And he is stating facts. So get over your tantrum already.

I'm sorry, but how was inspired stating "facts"? There's no evidence whatsoever that Carlos has ever scammed anyone. The comment was just spreading FUD, plain and simple. Yes, people have been scammed by newcomers, but that doesn't mean that all newcomers are scammers. I know I would be pissed if someone spread insinuation like that about me. There are several other posts in the Marketplace by new members, why make that warning in just this one?

What are you on about? Nobody said that the OP was a scammer. Did you actually read what inspired wrote?
All inspired stated was that
1. the poster was pretty new to the board: this is correct. he had joined in march of 08. that's pretty new
2. the poster has only posted a few times: this is also correct. he had posted 3 times.

So inspired stated a few facts, and in fact, also qualified them by saying that he wasn't implying that the poster was a scammer, only that people should be mindful of the faq's related to the exchange of money for goods posted at the top of the marketplace and be prudent in buying stuff.

I dunno man, that seemed pretty straight forward. It wasn't spreading FUD at all. What exactly did he insinuate, that the poster was new and had relatively few posts? Wow, that's heavy man. And true.
As far as him just posting here in this sale, here's two explanations right off the top of my head;
He didn't read the other posts.
The other posts weren't advertising things that were worth a large sum of money.

So maybe you should actually read what was written before getting your knickers all twisted up defending someone....anyways this is a waste of time.
out.

I read it inspire's entire post. Now just imagine this situation: you're an honest guy trying to make a sale, then someone that you don't even know comes in and tell the potential buyer "Hey man, you should be careful with this guy, you don't know him all that well. I'm not saying that he's a scammer, I'm just saying be careful." That's spreading FUD. The sticky is right on the top of the page. It wasn't inspired's business to go around targeting newcomers. Anyway, the sale is made, so this is moot, I'm out as well.
