Our film DUAL just won The Best Independent Action Film at The Action On Film Film Festival. It will be screening at The True West Film Festival in Idaho on the 12th so anyone interested in the area, come on by. It is a work in progress screening as we still have a final audio mix to do

Check out the trailer here:

Thanks gang. Yes, it is a feature. Shot it last year and am just this week finishing the sound mix. Went over budget a few grand so took a little extra time to get it out and done. Clocks in around 92 minutes. I have had it in two festivals now and a third this month.

I just wrapped another one that I will post the trailer to as well. It has not been color corrected or anything but still looks pretty good.

Nice! I can't wait to have the feeling one day of winning something at a festival... must feel good huh Squid?

It was a surprise for sure. I had seen we were nominated in two categories (Best Drama and Best Actor) but 5 minutes before the read it, I noticed we were nomintaed for Best Independent Action.... which we won. So, I was caught off guard and forgot everything I was going to say :)

It's nice in that DUAL I consider the first film I produced with total freedom. The last four films had many production hands involved to get the most "sellable" film. This one we took the risks we wanted and it was nice to be "told" we did the right thing....

Well, we just finished the audio mix so am only now presenting it to distributors. Luckily through my old business contacts I have a couple larger Hollywood distribution companies looking at it for domestic and a couple good ones for foreign as well. I'll amke sure to post here when I get the deal.

In the meantime, if in the Idaho area, come see it screen at The True West Film Festival Saturday!
