DIY 35mm and Brand 35mm Adapters

I have a question. I recently bought a diy 35mm adapter. What I am contemplating is. Can you get the same quality from these 35mm adapters as you would from like the letus35 extreme, M2 etc. Will the quality of footage be the same or are the brand names better in everything? lol. just a question. Can someone tell me the differences?? thanks so much

the brand name ones will definitely give you better quality, DIY ones tend to have some pretty annoying artifacts if they aren't made well like vignetting or sometimes the image is a bit soft no matter what you do. if someone bothered selling it they probably put some time into making it though.

Yeah, I would like to know this too. I know all about the 35mm adapters because about a month ago I was seriously considering getting one. I never did because I couldn't justify the cost at the time. But, I would like to make one if it can provide very good results. I have access to machine shops (my dad) and I take my time when I have to. I have seen some examples of homemade ones on here and some look amazing while others look like **** because a hack made it. So, if I take my time and I am careful, is it possible to achieve the same or close to the same results as the professional expensive ones?

Well, with the exception of extremely well made DIY jobs, yes brand names (LEtus particularly) will beat DIY in image quality.
