4 channel audio and onlocation

I have been shooting with and FX1 and am looking into getting an hvx200 mainly for the audio capabilities. Before I buy, I was hoping someone on the forum with experience could answer a quick question. If I plug 4 channels of audio into the camera, and capture my shoot via onlocation, will I see all 4 channels in pp cs3? Thanks in advance for your help.

It's a bit of confusion. 2 of the channels are always the onboard camera- i.e. pretty much worthless and the other two are the XLR inputs. Still I'm sure you get all four in Premiere Pro for what it's worth.

DV Rack 2.x HD (the predecessor to OnLocation) didn't actually record all four channels, at least not when using AVI files, which is all I ever used. Unless Adobe fixed this, you'll only get two channels...

If you need more- get a multitrack audio recorder and a timecode slate. Any more than two tracks is going beyond what most cameras are designed to do.
