Ok... so im new to premiere pro cs3 and have a question. There are certain parts of my video that i want to film in 24p, 30p, and some in 60i. different clips i want filmed in different modes and put into different timelines. can i put all of this together in one project? if so, how would i do it?

What if i want different footage captured to different timelines (ex. 23.97 or 29.97 timelines etc.) but in the end want it all together?

What would happen if i made part of a project on a 30fps timeline and another part of that project on a 24fps timeline and then combined the two together on one timeline...?

The main reason for this is that i like some filming modes for slow mode and some for fast mode. I am filming/editing a Snowboarding video that needs to be legit. I feel like im just missing something easy and im making this harder than it needs to be.

Basically im confused...Please HELP!

you shoot in 24p instead pf 24pA. That way, you can mix with other 29.976 footage because 24p is captured and edited in 29.976.

Ok, dory breaux, I'm gonna sound like such a noob right now... but I've just been browsing all the 24p posts, and I've of course read over and over the 24p vs 24pA difference... but something just still confuses me. Because I haven't been editing yet in Premiere Pro and rather Elements (for now), and Elements does not support a 24p timeline, I have held off shooting stuff with 24p till I get into CS3/pro. However, if 24p is captured and editing on a 29.976 timeline, what gives? Why aren't I using it then? It it because only the Pro-level programs are able to remove the pulldown or whatever the heck it is so it plays smoothly? Elements just removes one of every 5 frames when I play 24p video back, I know that can't be right. Anyway, sorry, just got confused... I haven't really gotten into the 24p stuff yet because I'm in Elements but that's changing soon. So yes, in the 24p area, I'm a noob. Admitted.
