Is this for real Riuka? If so, tell me her UserName so I can send her a welcoming greeting (and also arrange to buy her a glass of wine or anything she wants !!) You always make me smile and certainly have done so today. Well, it's 2:45 a.m. so I have to get some sleep! Talk to you soon!

Yes, Mark, for real, you can find her profile link on the first post of this thread by clicking on her name under crew list :)

Tomas, you are quickly becoming my favorite first time entry. This is going to be such a fun project to watch develop.

Thanks! i really hope and the same time believe that our team's efforts will justify the result :) . I will write a little bit more from where we come from and how we wanna do it, kind of a blog style entry... it will be posted on the first page.

once again, thank you for your support!

Hey, isn't Smilte Bagdziune Lithuanian for Alan Smithee :)

I think we need a picture of her holding a sign saying "N8ture is my Hero!" as proof of her existence. :)

No, definintely she is real :) you will see more of her in some photos which i will post when we meet to discuss our movie :)

p.s. i told Mark, lithuanian girls are VERY beautiful!

This thread now has TWO 5 star ratings...

Best of luck, Tomas! I'm looking forward to keeping up with your progress and watching what you guys (and hot girl) make...

Hey all, I just finished the exhaustive task of reading through this thread. I am working on the first draft of the script right now. This is looking like it will be great! Also, I wish I could have been here for your party! It looks as though I missed a lot of fun!

Oh - part of me wishes the film crew were over here filming this so I could make a visit to the set and speak with the director. Although, as said above, I doubt I would get any work done.

Good luck to everyone in this Fest, I can't wait to see them all. Also, I am really considering throwing my hat in the ring with a film of my own if I can get some updated equiptment in time (for a good price). Although maybe I'll just give in and use what I've got!

Thanks,

hey Norman, thanks a lot!

i watched your drama entry... awesome stuff! one of my favorite shorts with awesome story!

Awesome to hear! I feel that I am able to lock my script. Not bad after a week of writing and 3 revisions!

Good luck with yours, Tomas!

I am writing the script which Tomas will adapt to his native language and then provide English subs. It should be pretty intense!

I produced the first draft for him, but we had some different ideas as to the flow of the script (i.e. I saw it as more of a narrative piece with lots of v/o and flash back, and he was looking for more of a visual piece with no v/o and little flash back) But now that we have that worked out, I'll be churnning up a second draft within a few days and we can continue on this track.

Overall it is looking to be a great film, and I can't wait to see the others. Also, a small personal update: I am probably going to enter a film of my own, teaming up with some friends of mine. Plus, I am in talks with another filmmaker about possibly writing his script as well. I am looking forward to this fest!

Thanks,
