Hi all. The following is a trailer for a New Zealand TV show I'm working on called 'Jungle Fever 2: Primal Fury'. It was shot on an HVX in 720p using the M2 adaptor with Nikon lenses.

Rather than a classic trailer structure I decided to just use a scene from the series. Without knowing anything about the plot or setting, I was wondering if its an enticing trailer and, most importantly, whether it makes you want to watch the series.

Thanks in advance.

It looks funny and cute. I grew up with the muppets, as well as an entire onslaught of 80's & 90's Jim Henson produced television, so I'd probably watch it. Kids would like it even if they didn't get it, and teen to twenties audiences would probably get a kick out of it. I think it'd be a matter of them seeing at least one episode, then they'd probably keep watching. It looks entertaining.

I've watched and it's a great trailer, can you please write here the dialogue, because I can't understand the first part (only few words) and I fully understand that final part about "This day we'll fight" and "Freedom" of course, and "break our bones and loose our stuffies" for example, I suppose he's referring to the children, right? But a lot of words I can't understand very well, because I'm not native english language speaker... The dialogue and voice acting seem amazing mixed with a deep sense of parody and grotesque humour! Thanks! :) Great Lighting and colors! And music is beautiful!

oh god that was awesome
what mic did you use for this? sounds real nice. and the guys voice acting is real good too i think thats why its so funny

Thanks all,

We actually recorded all the dialogue for this in ADR, which is why its quite clean. We killed our actors voice yelling 'Freedom' over and over :)

Stevens, the script is basically a parody of Aragorns speech at the end of 'Return of the King':)

:( Probably I'm the only in the earth that refused to watch "The Lord of the Rings" movies... But the only movies directed by Peter Jackson that I saw are "Bad Taste" and "Brain Dead", still I can't figure how his talent could be grown up comparing to Sam Raimi that has did a lot of movies before directing Spiderman enveloping his style... (I compare Jackson to Raimi because all two began their careers with low budget horror movies ... )
I believe Jackson was a bit much revered in that occasion probably he got some lucky and became too fast well-connected to direct them...
