HVX, M2, A dolly and a big Lake

hey thanks, that means a lot coming from you.

It was tough, I was pulling focus without my FF, no monitor, plus dollying and looking at the LCD upside down.

Beautiful shots. The ones by the sea gives some kind of arctic feeling.
Where is this by the way?

Looks Great.
What kinda f stop where u at on the camera?
Around 4 to 5.6 on Camera, and 5.6 fixed on the lens

That's actually a lake (Lake Superior) believe it or not. I live in Duluth, MN.

I dig it!!! Very clean looking stuff there. And I noticed you put it on newschoolers, got any footy like that of skiing?

I've shot a few things with the redrock with Skiing, but it's incredibly tough to film skiing with the upside down image. As soon as the flip adapter comes out for the M2, I'll be filming a lot more skiing with it.

is that a homemade dolly or a bought one? looks real smooth

nope, a company out of Washington makes them. Well, used to, I'm 90% sure they went out of business. I almost didn't get the thing sent to me. It's really basic. Just a carpeted platform, really high grade skate wheels with sealed bearings, and a nice handle that swivels.

I like the way the ice changed as you moved around.. Nice somber feel to this... does look friggin' freezing too. I need to cut this snowstorm I shot in NH this xmas... as I froze getitng it togther.

lovely indeed bro!
