Can Any Panasonic Tape Go In The DVX

So I know once you pick a tape you should stick with it when it comes to the Panasonic DVX 100

so if I shoot with Panasonic MQ and PQ tapes can I also use the lower grade Panasonic tapes or am I bound only to use the high quality Panasonic tapes?

any answers on this one would be appreciated.

Are the lower quality panasonic tapes (not mq or pq) a different kind of tape or are all Panasonic tapes cut from the same cloth

i've been told that ANY panasonic tape can go in there...correct or incorrect?

can a standard panasonic tape...the cheap kind go into the camera or does panasonic make 2 kind of tapes...both wet lube and dry lube?

whether you think it is better or not is not the question I guess....are all panasonic tapes wet lube or dry lube or are only the pq and higher tapes?

Any panny tape will work but of course the higher grade tapes will give better quality than the ones you get at walmart. im not sure but i think panny makes one of tapes wetlube but dont quote me on that.

I know the pq and mq are fine...I just thought the more consumer grade panasonic tape was a no go in the camera once you use the pq and mq.....if anyone can chime in on that and confirm that would be great!

I thought it was just the brand switch between sony and panny. I pretty sure, but I only put the high grade pannys in my dvx

i think there is a difference between the low grade panasonic tape and the mq/pq tapes...unless someone chimes in....

Yeah the mq/pq's are better tapes. no, it wont kill your camera to put in consumer tapes in it, but the pq and mq tapes are better.

ANY tape will work in your DVX. Once you start using one brand of tape, DO NOT SWITCH unless you have the tape heads cleaned. As far as panasonic goes, i am pretty sure you can use any of their tapes.
