OK... first, let me just say this is usually not my genre of music, but I got in some new gear and wanted to test it out, and one of the guys in the group is a friend of a friend. I figured what the hell, and we got things rolling.

Shot in roughly 7 hours. 8 foot crane, DIY dolly, SGpro, Nikon primes.

The day of the shoot, I couldn't find the power cord to my LCD, so I went on without it. Some of the image's are a tad soft... but even the crane shots were without an LCD, meaning I couldn't see a thing.:zombie_smiley:

60MB file, so give it a little time to load:

Your right, the images are pretty soft...and the music is definitely not my genre either. But like it. I think its pretty well done for not having an lcd. Got any pics of the production? (especially the crane?)

that looked real cool. what kind of crane was it? this forum is one of the reasons why i plan on buying a sgpro real soon.

Hey thanks guys... yeah... it looks much sharper in a higher quality, but yes, there are still plenty of shots not quite in focus.

I've got some BTS shots from the entire shoot I'll post up in a couple days. I'm on a 15hr a day gig right now, and I won't be finished till wednesday of next week, but I'll post them when I get a chance. The crane, dolly, cam setup, and all other lights and gear will be in the BTS shots.

The group just watched the video, loved it, showed it to other people, and now I've got 10 people wanting me to do one for them. The bad news (for me), I'm not really into rap music. The good news... they have MONEY, and are willing to pay.

I guess I'd rather be making money off of rap videos than doing sh!tty events, crappy corporate gigs, and low budget commercials (how I earn a living right now).

We'll see what happens...
