Spanned P2 clips not importing into FCP

I'm using FCP ver. 5.1.4 on a G5, and I can't seem to properly import my spanned clips. Everytime I add them to the queue, FCP goes through the process just fine, but then they don't appear in my project bin. I can import all my other P2 files with no problems, but for some reason the clips that span 2 cards won't show up. I did import both pieces of them at the same time, but still nothing.

I already pulled the files over to my external hard drive from the p2 cards and formatted the cards, so I don't think that's an option anymore. The clips show up in the import window, and I can even play them back in that same window, but when I try to import them into my project, nothing shows up in my project bin.
