Well I haven't been in a fest in about a year, and I have to say, you guys are getting this down to a science.

Thank you so much for the opportunity. This really kicked off the year for me, and I hope to keep the momentum going.

I cant imagine how much goes on behind the scenes to make things happen as organized as they are.

Or, perhaps, Blaine it seems that way because this is the first fest when WE are semi-organized! You probably saw things differently when you were shooting stuff a couple hours before deadline and compressing files at midnight!

Thanks for making this event so enjoyable. Your hard work on the technical side of things made it so easy for a festival newbie like me. And thanks for patiently handling questions along the way. I think you've spoiled me for what to expect from outside festivals.
 
This has been such a great experience for the FM crew. Got to work with some cool dvxusers (Geoff, Matty, Luis, Amanda, Justin, Blaine, Kholi) and also some really cool non-dvxusers. We've learned a lot and can't wait to watch every entry.

Big up to both Barrys, Mikko, Jason, Jarred, Luis, Larry.
 
I just want to say thanks to all the members, and everyone who is participating in this fest. Was a strong turnout this time, and a real strong sponsor turn out as well, and hopefully things will continue to get bigger and better, and more and more streamlined, professional and all that stuff moving forward.

It's the members that really make the fests great... and put the fest mods on their toes to make things better and to be able to handle the increased load and demand with each fest.

Fantastic job on the turnout too. What'd we get, over 50 entries? That's amazing. We thought when we announced the fest theme that some people might grumble and gripe and not participate if it wasn't a sci-fest or horrorfest, but hey, Barry_S chose this and I think it's always great to see the filmmakers stretch and grow. And you guys responded big-time: 50 entries! Awesome. Looking forward to when the viewing begins!
 
I'm not competing this time around, but as always, the team did a great job! I think of all the hours each of these guys puts in, and for Larry's work on getting this system so smooth! And he tells me he wants to make it even easier! How's that for commitment?! You guys rock!
 
I don't want to double-post, but i just expressed everything back in the IFHY thread that I would have said here. Thanks to everyone working behind the scenes at LoveFest.

I really thought there would be 35 entries, MAX. Really glad to see I was wrong.
