Anyone have some rare earth magnets?

If you have a staples near you, just pop in there. They sell a package of about 10 magnets with similar demensions as those you linked and they cost about $2-3. They work great for LCD flipping if that's what you are looking for.

I actually bought some "high power" mags from wal-mart but they were too weak. I don't think there's a staples near hear either.

Make sure you have them facing the right way. I don't know which side is positive or negative but only one of them triggers the flip.

Ahhhh. I'll have to recheck that. They seem like they're pretty damn strong but I can't get it to flip. Thank will. LL

Rubbing the magnets all over freshly-shot tapes enhances image clarity, too.

Just another use for 'em, if you're looking...

I got some magnets that work with flipping my DVX100A LCD at Home Depot. Only like $2-3 for a package of 4(I think, it was a few years ago).

I ordered some rare earth magnets many years ago from another site for a piece of artwork. Man those things are fun. I bought some of the large ones (about 1.5" X 1") in addition to some various sized small ones (like the ones in your link). The large ones make great stud finders. The large ones are almost impossible to get apart if they slam together. No good on the fingers. Anyway, I'm no help... sorry.
