I assume this has been answered but I couldn't find it and I am a bit impatient to find out.
I just received my 24" Dell with 1920 x 1200 pixels... it is an amazing focusing monitor right off the bat but I don't think, well actually I hope, that I have don't have it properly set up... I am a bit afraid to find out actually but I don't know of anything else I could do other than setting the AV IN/OUT SETUP > COMPONENT OUT SELECT to the proper setting be it 480, 720 or 1080 depending on which I am using.
The problem is that I get the screen filled with the image... and it shouldn't... 1200 vertical should not be filled... needless to say I also have a cropped image on the left and the right of my frame... :crybaby: I am "zoomed in" to the middle of the frame to the point where the 1080 fills the 1200 vertical pixels... so I am missing a huge chunk on either side...
I would LOVE to be able to frame with this monitor! And that's what I expected when I eagerly placed the order...
I guess I shouldn't feel so bad since I will be able to edit 1080, but I... well, I am sure you guys understand how important this is for me...
Is there a way to get the image displayed pixel for pixel?
Does it involve additional hardware?
