I can't remember any movie I saw on here that deserved my hard earned money more than this one. Great quality and I will buy the DVD when I see it available.

It is a great inspiration to see this kind of movie making being done literally with hard work and great problem solving. This is the basics of film school. Forget about what camera you have, and focus on getting a great team that will accomplish anything they are faced with. The rest will fall into place, including the need for a fancy camera.

Can you play the Japanese dvd on your computer?

With all the praise the trailer is getting it would be hilarious if this movie turned out to suck hard core because the story is so bad; but I doubt it will. And if that does happen you can still watch it and appreciate and be inspired by the visuals, it be kinda like Blade Runner. No offense to Blade Runner but that movie is freaking depressing, endlessly brilliant visually, but freaking depressing and slow; though the final cut is a lot better.

depends on what you're using. i think windows allows you to change your dvd region 5 times before it locks it. you could also find a program like dvdshrink and convert it to a region free disc. since it's japanese, it would already be NTSC, so as long as you're in america (or any other NTSC domain), just changing the region should work.
 
Holy cow, I just watched the trailer for this... all I can say is that I'm impressed. Awesome work.

Any news on this? Is a DVD available?
