What cables for A1 extrernal monitor?

I am planing to get an extrenal 7 inch marshall hd lcd for my camera,
i wonder what cables do you guys use for this? camera had one camera>component cable, but it's way too long...

any suggestions or shorter alternatives?

I'd just run a shorty (depending on distance) BNC to BNC from Video 2 port. That's the port i use for my 7" (not marshall, other brand)

but wouldn't the quality be better through component? or you think BNC will be enough for focusing... ?

bnc/video2 outputs sd. you'd want component with the marshall. kholi found a short cable solution for the hvx, which also works with the xha1, since they both use a d4 jack on the camera.

i actually found the cable solution above a little TOO short, but it might be what you're looking for. that said, i've grown to like the flexibility the long cable gives me, and prefer to loop and tape that when i need a shorter run.

marshall component connectors are bnc, so you'll need a trio of rca-to-bnc adapters.

Agreed. I like the length of the cable that came with the A1.
