Frame rate for live rock band show?

Most of the things i've shot with my A1 has all been in 30F, scripted and well lit scenes. I've got a live band i'm going to shoot next week (which i've never done before) and was wondering if i should shoot in 30F or switch to 60i?

Any insight?

Hi Mike, Im suprised your shooting everything in 30f. Especially with controlled lighting situations where 24 can really shine.

If you can and have enough available light, shoot 30f. 60i looks like rubbish if you ask me for this type of thing (suitable for many many other applications but not this one).

What is it about 60i that makes it so bad in this case? I haven't done much with 60i, so I'm curious.

My vote is for 30F, 24F if you think you have enough light.
60i just has that typical "video" look, cuz that's what it is.
