WHERE THE HEART LIES ... Johnson, Hyten, Golden & Bullis

Mark, I am very excited to see this flick you are working on. And I just love the title... it really seems to be a bit of a double entendre.

As I was watching the bts and then viewing the grabs, I started to put the story (my own version, obviously!) together in my head. Really looking forward to this.

Ted, it is just so damn nice to have you back on the forum. It will be even better to get you out here again. Surely we can make that happen this spring or summer, huh?

Thanks for your enthusiasm. We do really like this story and we can only hope it cuts the way we see it in our heads so far.

Can't wait to see some grabs and BTS on your thread. I still think your original thread in HorrorFest was one of the best sources of info and amusement we've had (for some reason stuff I get involved with sort of devolves into a low-rent frat party it seems. Must be Bullis' fault).

Thanks for the kind words. That first fest was truly a great experience for me. I will never forget that.

As for bts and grabs for "Love," that is kinda hard as I am planning on a very short shoot schedule due to my late entry. But when I get something, you'll be the first to know it!

Just got back from the Fat Monster offices and I've got to say that Tim is doing a great job on editing. Perhaps his greatest strength in this area is his willingness to look at other options. He may be young but he is well beyond his years when it comes to understanding a good edit, regardless of where the ideas come from. For all of us on this project, the most important thing is to GET IT RIGHT.

Speaking of RIGHT, right now, Johnson is trying to see Cloverfield, a movie he has been trying to see for over a week.

Once again I got f*cked. My GPS went out en route and I ended up first in the parking lot of a lumber yard and then outside a Pollo Loco imposter. I may have actually made it to the movie but I was seduced by a 7-11 with its promises of SlimJims and Cheddar Sun Chips. As I exchanged b.s. with the charming clerk with the almond eyes I decided to say "screw it" and return to Fat Monster to bother Tim some more.

Tomorrow, maybe.

Perhaps a double feature of There Will Be Blood AND Cloverfield.
 
Tried to get Tim to go see the 11:00 showing of Cloverfield. He was only good for lunch. Going to try tonight. TOMMY, if you wanna come out and see Cloverfield with us, come on!!!
 
Maybe "There Will Be Blood" next week, Tommy? Would be cool.
