Are these bateries OK for XH A1

Be careful of the batteries with the largest physical size. Some have reported that they can "grow" slightly whilst in the camera making them difficult to remove. That said, I have the Impact BP-950 and have used it as my primary battery for several months without issue. I've shot at both room temperature and in freezing conditions outdoors.

Thanks for pointing it out. I only have it for a short time now, so I'll test the battery in some different conditions. But I heared some more people here with good experiences with the larger Impact battery.

Since lithium ion battery can explode when improperly made, I prefer to buy a reputable brand, from a reputable retailer. The fact that they can be sued should make them implement the proper safeguards into the battery.

A quick search with google does not find the web site for impact battery maker. This is not a good sign.

Never understood the risk people take on their $3000 camera . I guess you haven't seen a melt down on a battery inside a camera yet. Not a pretty sight. No other third party can give you warranty on your XHA1 except Canon

Save little more and spend it on an original and you can have the piece of mind when you shoot.

You might get lucky sometimes, But when you are not. You wish you'll never bought.

BTW Original batteries tends to last longer. I'm still using some original batteries from my XL1
