Just figured we should give props where they're due.
Each of those people have won either first, second, or third place in a past fest.

(I do notice the definite lack of MY name on that list...hmmm..going to have to rectify that soon).
 
This promises to be the best night of 2008 so far:

1) 8 p.m. Rehearsals for Where The Heart Lies
2) 12:01 a.m. First Showing of CLOVERFIELD (yassuh!)

I expect it will be more like me wandering aimlessly around the set and being pushed out of the way as I complain testily, "Hey! Careful, man, there's a beverage here!"

Where are you seeing Cloverfield? All the theaters I'm looking at have a 12:01 show tomorrow night and I'm that guy who can't afford to wait a day...
 
Damn, I think it was a misprint. Under the Edwards Cinema here in Rancho it originally said 12:01 a.m. under the WEDNESDAY heading but now it's changed to 11:59 on THURSDAY. Crap. I really wanted to see it tonight ........ They changed it within the last hour.
 
Looks like whoever placed the schedule and whoever told them to place it suffered from the same confusion I always have when the announce the fest deadline as "midnight on such and such date" ... midnight is the peak of the barn roof, not on either side. So I always have to ask "do you mean 11:59:59 + 1 second on Wednesday night or 12:00:01 - 1 second on Thursday morning.

I guarantee you someone that works for that movie theater is saying "you told me midnight thursday" and their boss is saying "I did tell you midnight thursday."
 
Hold The Presses .... LOOKS LIKE CLOVERFIELD IS PLAYING TONIGHT (12:01 a.m.) ... It's playing here in Rancho Cucamonga and Ontario, CA starting at 12:01 a.m.

Tim and I are going to go. We'll post our review (without spoilers) when we get back.
