Hey guys,
I just uploaded the first of a series of videos for a project I did in the Russian Siberia! It's up for stream or quicktime download. Please check it out and give me your criticism! Thanks!

I shot nearly everything handheld and with the stock lens. Captions and coloring was all done in AE. The song is from a band called [edit]Rogue Wave[edit] entitled Eyes. I was on a team of about 25 American workers along with maybe 7 other Internationals and Russians. I was also a translator on this team, so multitasking was a bit of a challenge. I Also did an artificial uprez process with Photozoom Pro. Enjoy!

Song is by "rogue wave" actually ;)

I dig it... good shots, and interesting cut, but I still have no idea what it's for, or what it's about??

It also seemed to lag a bit, meaning I think it could be tightened up a bit to shorten the overall length.

As said up there, I do dig it, and good job.

Nice work man. I'm interested in documenting a mission trip. How did you handle your equipment flying overseas?

With much pain. haha! Really though, it takes alot of care and attention to keep things from breaking/being stolen/malfunctioning. Just make sure you always carry backup equipment(little handy-cam/etc). The only lighting gear I brought though was a fold-up reflector. I try to bring as little as possible...

Camera
Batteries
Tape Stock
Cleaning Kit
Shotgun Mic and Mount
Reflector
Chargers

All fits in one bag! But heavy as crap and you'll have very beastly shoulder muscles by the end of the trip!

Sorry for not clarifying earlier.
Every year, I travel to Russia and document a Christian missions trip. This is my third year(Although this year I had already been there the whole year studying Russian). We do bible camps for orphanages, social outreach to communities, and supporting seminars for local churches. This particular video is mainly concentrating on the kids bible camps.

I'm one of the makers of PhotoZoom Pro, and just want to point out that we've recently released a new version of PhotoZoom Pro 2 (the successor to PhotoZoom Pro). You will likely get even better results with version 2, as it contains quite some improvements including a new enlargement algorithm. Hope this helps!

Again, nice work... And I bet it was a pain. But when your running and gunning, I don't imagine you try to carry too much lighting equipment.
