Hello!
Here's some grabs from a test i did this weekend with my a1 with a 35mm adapter. Its one step closer to that "film" quality im trying to achieve with the a1.

ok,now thats what i'm talking about.what adapter did you use?some shots look a little soft though, but the ones with lighting look pretty sharp and filmic.

its a static 35 adapter i made with a canon ee-s gg and a achromat from cinevate. Its pretty sharp as you can see on picture 3, and all my footage is focus using only the viewfinder/lcd screen on the A1. But it needs lots of light to get a nice image, but thats a good way to learn how to light my subjects better.

WoW!!:2vrolijk_08:

Can you post a 10-15 sec clip.
How about a picture of your camera setup?

TBH I would expect an image scaled down as these are to look much sharper than that.

Milvid: i'm rebuilding my rig, but i will post pictures of the new camera rig as soon as its finished. What resolution do you want the clip in?

Noel Evans: Here's two frames in 720p so you see the sharpness in 1280x720..

I think it's not totally edge to edge sharp but the parts that are sharp are pretty sharp. What A1 preset did you use?
It would be nice to see some footage.

i think i used the vivid rgb, but im not sure. i can check it out. i totaly agree with the edge to edge sharpness being not perfect, its something i'll try to modify later. I'l post a clip very soon, i just need to find a good place to host the file.
